On target: Zeiko Lewis, left, and Nahki Wells, were both on target in Bermuda's 3-1 win away to Dominican Republic. Bermuda won the match 3-1 to seal qualification to the Concacaf Gold Cup for the first time in the island's history

After falling a goal behind to a fortuitous second-minute strike from Enmy Pena, Bermuda rallied with Zeiko Lewis equalising shortly after, before second-half goals from Nahki Wells and Justin Donawa sealed the historic victory.

The victory will see Bermuda crucially finish within the top ten teams in the group and advance to the Gold Cup in the United States, a biennial competition for teams in North America, Central America, and the Caribbean.

The group stage of the Gold Cup will be held from June 15 to July 7.
